For whatever reason it worked fine for me using the NordicSemi catalog, but not for my co-worker. We just found out this morning that we should be using the NordicSemiconductor catalog as that is what is provided by the MDK. NordicSemi catalog is provided by IAR.

RE: IAR Device Options "NordicSemi" and "NordicSemiconductor"?

So it does not work with the device from the NordicSemi catalog, but with the NordicSemiconductor catalog?

RE: IAR Device Options "NordicSemi" and "NordicSemiconductor"?

Sorry, there was a typo in the original post. The part we are using is the QFAC. We both have selected the AC option, but in the image there are two options for Nordic chips: NordicSemi and NordicSemiconductor. I didn't have both options and realized that was due to not installing the MDK. The xxAC versions are from the MDK and are what need to be selected.

RE: IAR Device Options "NordicSemi" and "NordicSemiconductor"?

Which chip version are you using? The QFAA and QFAB version have only 16KB RAM. The stack is placed in the top of the RAM (and grow downward). If you are using QFAA or QFAB and compile for the QFAA version (which have 32KB RAM), the stack will be placed outside of the actual RAM area.
