I am learning my way with Zephyr on nrf5340 SoC, an loving it so far. Unfortunately I got stuck on something that should work out of the box, the setup of the BLS subsystem.
There are many examples to be found, but all of them seem to be using

RE: Is there an updated example for BLE on nrf5340?

That is lucky! Yes for example this dev academy course briefly covers the multi-core case and has an Exercise 2 titled "Custom board for Multi-core image" but it only covers the non-secure and secure image case, not the app image vs network image case: academy.nordicsemi.com/.../

RE: Is there an updated example for BLE on nrf5340?

Of course yes, the examples are useful to understandand and as a starting point, but a custom application is mandatory... somehow I managed to make it work but it's not so clear how

RE: Is there an updated example for BLE on nrf5340?

I have to agree that there is no clear guidance on how to setup CPUNET especially for a custom board.
Are you trying to create a custom application of your own, which can be flashed onto the nRF5340DK.?

It is my fault for sure, so I kindly ask you to point me to the relevant part of the course where the sample application is built for the 5340.

As I wrote before the "lbs" example works, but I would prefer an explanation of how to do the same in my application rather than having to reverse engineer a sample to adapt to my use case.

I would suggest that you take a look at our DevAcademy Tutorials: https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/bluetooth-low-energy-fundamentals/

You could also take a look at the BLE samples here: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/samples/bl.html

After flashing it on the board the error I mentioned above disappears, I suppose this means that the net core image is correct now. How can I make my project behave in the same way as the sample, so that it automatically creates the image for the net core and flashes it to the board?

Thanks
