Actually I found it in the manual! Thanks, the problem is resolved.

Yes, I disabled the definition for SPI_ENABLE in the sdk_config and it no longer references the apply_old_config file. However adding my second SPIM instance is still running into problems. Where can I find info on which peripherals share base addresses for NRF52832?

A colleague says this:

Use legacy symbols (nrf_drv_*) when changing driver configuration. nrfx_* symbols will be overridden by legacy symbols when present. Ref. https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/sdk_nrf5_v17.1.0/page/nrfx_migration_user_guide.html

Does that make sense for your issue?

Are you working on a project already using the nRF5 SDK or are you starting a new project?
