Our project is based on the AWS IoT Sample.

I switched to SDK 2.5.2 and the project builds. Preliminary testing looks good. It appears to boot properly coming out of reset.

I will update again after further testing.

RE: Power On Reset vs JTAG Reset on nRF5340/nRF7002 system

Hello Mathias,

I investigated and found this issue here: https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/blob/main/doc/nrf/releases_and_maturity/known_issues.rst#id1407

The fix for this was merged in 2.5.2.

Another commit changed the statically allocated heap memory to 30K, which helps explain the overflow.

github.com/.../14177

config COMMON_LIBC_MALLOC_ARENA_SIZE
# 30K is mandatory, but might need more for long duration use cases
default 30000

I've asked Jeff to investigate disabling "config WPA_SUPP_ADVANCED_FEATURES" to see if this helps w/ overflow.

Thanks,
