Hi Vimal,

The typical approach is to start the WDT from the application, then enable feeding of the watchdog in the bootloader with CONFIG_BOOT_WATCHDOG_FEED=y. However, I don't foresee any problems with modifying the bootloader to also start the WDT as long as you align the WDT configuration with the configuration to be used by the app.

Thank you, for your input. Can we enable the watchdog in MCUBOOT and continue using same watchdog in application with kicking Watchdog in application first to avoid WDT reset.

Hello Vimal,

The WDT peripheral on the nRF52833 cannot be stopped or re-configured after it has been started.
