I wanted to enable the watchdog in MCUBOOT starting main.c file and disable it just after giving control to application main function to monitor the MCUBOOT stuck operations

RE: Enable/Disable watchdog in MCUBOOT

Hi Vimal,

The typical approach is to start the WDT from the application, then enable feeding of the watchdog in the bootloader with CONFIG_BOOT_WATCHDOG_FEED=y. However, I don't foresee any problems with modifying the bootloader to also start the WDT as long as you align the WDT configuration with the configuration to be used by the app.

Best regards,

Can we enable the watchdog in MCUBOOT and continue using same watchdog in application with kicking Watchdog in application first to avoid WDT reset.

Thankyou!
Regards
Vimal Kumar Verma

RE: Enable/Disable watchdog in MCUBOOT

Hello Vimal,
