Hi Abhijith,

Can you please confirm if there is any progress on getting AP+STA working simultaneously? We are preparing our firmware in Zephyr to support 5 GHz for our devices and planned to use nRF7002 WiFi module. We need AP+STA working simultaneously for our application.

Yes, that's true. You can try your own implementation, but I want to let you know that the software support we provide will be very limited or nonexistent. Unfortunately, I don't have any details regarding the roadmap or which release it will be included in.

So to clarify, the nRF7002 is capable of doing STA+AP but not with the current version of NRF SDK, correct?

If that is the case, then if we were to use the sdkxlib provided, but use our own implementation would it be possible?

Sorry for the confusion here.The nRF7002 is indeed capable of supporting both STA and AP modes simultaneously. However, please note that the current software does not yet support this feature. It is in our development backlog, and we are working towards implementing it in a future update.

Are you sure about that?
The official datasheet of the nRF70 from Nordic states:

Page #8 in the datasheet.

This is the reason we chose it for our current project...

Is it some firmwere issues?

No, the nRF7002 cannot operate in both Station (STA) mode and Software-enabled Access Point (SoftAP or SAP) mode simultaneously. See the SoftAp section in the documentation.
