We performed some physical range tests between two nRF52840, and wrote about the result here: Comparing range with Bluetooth Low Energy of the nRF21540 DK and the nRF52840 DK

Please do note that the range was measured in close to ideal condition, with minimal electromagnetic noise. In a realistic usage condition, the number will be much different.

For nRF52840 to nRF52832, the result will be a little difference depends on the RX sensitivity differences at different modes of operation. Refer to the data in the nRF52840 Product Spec and the nRF52832 Product Spec.
