Yes the issue is resolved but the symbol should be corrected as it is not showing an error with the other

OK, so the change to EXTRA_ZEPHYR_MODULES should be fully in place. I will raise this issue internally for analysis. Meanwhile, as things work correctly with EXTRA_ZEPHYR_MODULES, can I take it that you don't have any issue anymore?

What version of NCS are you working with? EXTRA_ZEPHYR_MODULES has replaced ZEPHYR_EXTRA_MODULES since Zephyr 3.4.0. It is still a little odd that ZEPHYR_EXTRA_MODULES still works and affect MCUboot.

It appears something changes when you use EXTRA_ZEPHYR_MODULES rather then ZEPHYR_EXTRA_MODULES so that it does not get included in mcuboot.
