As mentioned above and in the DK documentation, the VDD on both the DK and target board must match. The OB Jlink on the DK does not have a built-in level shifter.

Yeah there is a LDO in the board which converts to 1.8V

Since you are using the nRF52 DK to program an external target, you need to select nRF52 DK from the dropdown menu as your programming device. Any external targets connected to the DK will not be detected here.

Please note that the VDD voltage on the nRF5 must match the VDD voltage on the DK. Also, the VDD voltage on the nRF52805 must never exceed 3.9V.

I'm not trying to program the NRF52DK, I'm using it as a debugger for NRF52805. which is connected to it using SWD. Its the same board which appears as unknown in the nRF Connect Programmer.

NRF52DK is being programmed without any issues, however the 52805 module I'm trying to program is not being detected.

I'm not sure what device you have connected that enumerates as 'Unknown', but you should ignore that device and select the nRF52 DK instead.

Iam not able to detect or flash the controller on first place. It shows unknown while connecting.

Then you should be able to select the nRF52 DK board from the drop down menu. Are you able to program the nRF52 DK board, or does that also fail?

Hello,

The screenshot from the Programmer app shows the devices as "unknown." How have you connected your board to the PC? Do you have a J-Link debug probe in between?

Considering from the schematic diagram of PCB reversal, this circuit seems reasonable, but considering that 52805 is working in DCDC Config, I have the following suggestions for your reference.

1. After many experiments verified by our team, nRF52 series products have certain requirements for inductors in DCDC mode. For details, please refer to nRF52805 Product Specification v1.4 Figure 122 & Table 109 (Page 350). Under my many experimental tests, if it is necessary to ensure the reliability of nordic, The 10uH inductors on the DCC Pin need to use the 0402 package and need to guarantee 50mA of current through.
In your design, the 10uH inductance of the DCC Pin was selected in the 0201 package, which may be difficult to meet the parameter requirements in the manual.
2. Wlcsp packaged chips usually have high requirements for welding and processing accuracy. The solder pad size of the tin spraying process in the commonly used PCB processing plant (eg JLC HQ JDB) in China needs to be greater than 0.3mm. If the diameter of the solder pad is less than 0.3mm, the plating process needs to be used, please check your PCB production process. Poor production processes can lead to welding failures or unreliability.
For problem 1, you can try to remove the two inductors of the DCC Pin and make it work in LDO Config. Of course, I personally think that if the connection and software configuration are OK, the possible problem is that the welding is not reliable
