&lt;p&gt;I would think it would work fine just as a proof of concept. If you have access to a climate chamber I would suggest you a DK inside and see if it good enough for you test. The sensor should have an accuracy of 0.25%C ref the &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ps_nrf52832/page/temp.html"&gt;product specification&lt;/a&gt;. You ofc have some heat generated by the mcu itself but I don&amp;#39;t think that is a issue as just a PoC&lt;/p&gt;
