Hi Dejan!

I was able to resolve my issues! I created a new application in the same main folder that my toolchain and sdk were stored under and that seemed to remove all the "unable to locate [library]" / dependency errors I was receiving.

Hi Rachel,

You could try to create new application from sample in VS Code nRF Connect for Desktop extension. You could also try building some other cellular sample, for example Modem_Shell application. In addition, you can build your application from VS Code terminal using "west build" command.

There are guides in the documentation for getting started with Thingy91 and updating Thingy91 which might be useful.

Hi Dejan,

These problems occurred after I tried to build my application. I have yet to actually modify any part of the asset_trackerv2 application and this is my first time working with the Thingy 91 and nRF Connect SDK. Any kind of help would be much appreciated.

Did you get problems shown in the screenshot after trying to build your application or was there some other action on your side which caused problems?

Hi Dejan!

So what I redownloaded the SDK from the Toolchain application on nRF Connect for desktop and then recreated a new application on VS Code from the Asset Tracker v2 sample. After I created a build configuration I had a lot of errors in my config files as seen below. pfj.conf is now available for me to edit so my initial issues are gone.

I'm at the moment struggling to find ways to fix all of these problems and most importantly all the dependencies errors as I've been going through previous DevZone tickets and I can't seem to resolve my issue.

Hi,

Have you made any changes to your nrf repository or modified asset_tracker application directly inside the repository?

What happens when you hover over prj.conf with your mouse? Does it show your application directory or some other?

This ticket can be closed, the issue seemed to be resolved after I redownloaded the SDK and did a clean build configuration.
