I'm facing the same problem with Win11.
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 24H2
Installed on ‎16/‎05/‎2025
OS build 26100.4061
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.84.0

Device Manager finds PPK2 as "unknown" device:

Using the latest JLink driver V836 (installed by "JLink_Windows_V836_x86_64.exe").

I've tried to connect PPK2 directyl to PC and thru hub, but get the same resutls. I even connect the additional USB for power just to make sure that the power is not a limiting factor here. So the @Evan24 solution does not work for me.

Do we have any update on that topic? What else should I try?

Thank you!

Support

RE: Power Profiler Kit 2 - "No Device Setup Found"

Hi Priyanka,

It looks like the power distribution settings on my computer does cause a lower/unstable power supply to the board. I did try it with another computer setup with similar results. I will keep that in mind as I use the board for measurements and just ensure I have a proper power supply to the board.

Thanks for your help!

RE: Power Profiler Kit 2 - "No Device Setup Found"

Hi Evan,

Unstable or low power supply can cause such problems. Maybe it's an issue with that USB port in your PC? Have you tried some other USB ports on your computer and checked if the issue persists?

Has this phenomenon been observed before? I'm speculating that my computer wasn't sending sufficient power to the board.

RE: Power Profiler Kit 2 - "No Device Setup Found"

Hi Priyanka,

I have a PCA63100 V1.0.1 from 2023.5...

It should be possible to work with the Windows11. I have no issues at my end. When you connect the PPK2, do you get a prompt to program?

Could you also tell me your PPK2 revision? You can find this on the small white sticker on the PPK2.
