Maybe there is some working step-by-step guide on how to disable RESET pin on nRF52 microcontrollers in the latest SDK versions? I think this question is of interest not only to me.

Hi Swathy.

I tried the recommendations from the ticket “Use RESET pin as GPIO - nRF52840”, but they didn't work for me. Moreover, this ticket remained unanswered, so I'm not sure if it gives the right recommendations.

Can you confirm that the steps I took were correct?
1. Do not use CONFIG_GPIO_AS_PINRESET.
2. Create a “softreset” command in settings.json

Perhaps something else needs to be done?
