When monitoring data transfer with the nRF Sniffer between an Android phone and a Nordic board (NRF52840), it seems that Android doesn’t support BLE data length extension.

You can see that the Nordic chip makes an “LL_LENGTH_REQ

RE: Andorid does not seem to support Data lenght extension

Good Morning,

Thanks for your response. Strange that recent Android devices don't support this feature.

The reason is as my colleague explained in that post. The limitation is on the phone instead of the nRF52840 device. Unfortunately, there is no way we could force the phone to support that.
