I need to be able to send/receive binary data over this BLE UART Service (bt_nus) on macOS. I'm using the peripheral_uart sample project with no success. It seems to work ok when connected to iOS. Any ideas?

RE: BLE UART Service - need to appear as serial port to macOS

Hi

What exactly is the issue you're having on macOS? Does the MacOS device you're testing on have Bluetooth LE, as I don't think this is normal for most desktops to have. Are you using the Bluetooth settings on the MacOS, or are you using a separate app?

What you can do is to use a separate DK and the nRF Connect for Desktop app and the BLE app to connect to the peripheral_uart device and use the service from there.

Best regards,
