I apologize for missing this earlier. I was checking the sample, and it looks like the nRF52833 DK is not supported by the system off demo sample. Please refer to the supported board section for more details.

I'm using zephyr 3.6.99 with 2.7 nrf connect sdk. I didn't make any changes to the NFC system off sample code, just upload it to the nrf52833dk.

Could you tell me which SDK version you are using? Have you made any changes to the System Off sample from the SDK? If so, could you provide details on the updates you made? I assume you are working with the NFC: System Off sample. If not, could you specify which sample you are using?
