I understand that this can be frustrating and this seems to be a common issue when connected to MacOS.. Updating JLink usually resolves this. I can see that is not the case for you. I suggest that you try disabling the Mass Storage Device (MSD) of the DK using msddisable command : https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/develop/flash_debug/nordic_segger.html#disabling-the-mass-storage-device-functionality

Also, you could try switching the USB cable.

For some folks, installing the latest J-Link seemed to have helped, but didn't work out for me till to date and wanghao_sh and seems like you are facing the same.

I met the same issue on my MacBook Pro (Apple M3 chip).

My MacOS X is Sequoia 15.3.2.

JLink v7.9.4i. And I've installed JLink universal version. the installation file is JLink_MacOSX_V794i_universal.pkg.

I'm almost driven crazy by this pop-up window....

Yes, installing the latest J-Link worked for me too for this issue.

How do I uninstall? It looks like a component of the nRF Desktop needs JLINK V7.94i

For me installing the latest J-Link firmware on the DK solved the issue (macos Sequoia).

You are not alone my friend. I thought I was the only one seeing this on my macOS Sonoma 14.5.

Whats strange that I have another MacBook running ventura but there it works fine. Seems like its some glitch with the newer macOS versions..
