Hi,

It will no longer be detected by the nRF Connect for dekstop app unless the application you program has the DFU trigger library (see tutorial). So this indicate that it started your application. To get it back in DFU mode, press the sideways reset button.

Hello Einar,

I did try the above method, upon flashing the program onto nRf52840 dongle, it is resetting and is not being detected by nRf connect for desktop

Hi,

The dongle is programmed via USB DFU, and because of that, it includes the MBR and a USB Bootloder. If you are using the nRF5 SDK (which I assuem if you are using Segger Embedded Studio?), you need to make some adjustments to the project in order for it to work on the dongle. Please see the nRF52840 Dongle Programming Tutorial.
