I' have a custom board with an nRF9161 chip. I have a custom connector to program it with SWDIO/SWCLK. For the moment I'm trying to detect my board with nrf programmer and one nrf9160-dk eval board, without success.
I always got an error,

RE: Trying to flash custom board with nrf9160-dk baord

Hi again

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this. Per the reference circuitry, some pins/pads are connected to ground, but are you asking if some of these pins are internally connected to others within the SiP?

Best regards,

But my question is the chip "box" of nrf9161 internally connectd to ground or not ? Beceause if I check the continuity between usb gnd for example and the center nrf9161 chip box I have a contact, and I don't know if it's normal or not, because on some chip like stm32wl, we have a metal shield on the chip.

RE: Trying to flash custom board with nrf9160-dk baord

Hi

The SWCLK should definitely not be in touch with GND, so this must be due to bad soldering and would explain why you can't program your board.

Best regards,
