I've noticed that when developing locally using the same account device details as our production environment each is causing the other to disconnect. That means local development is interrupting our production environment, which isn't something

RE: Multiple Account Devices - to avoid interruption of other connections

Glad it's working for you!

RE: Multiple Account Devices - to avoid interruption of other connections

Thanks Lincoln.
The team ID is: c96e1a19-5158-41f7-bb2a-c87fe3f892ed

Part of the need for this is to test load with all current devices so using separate teams with different devices isn't really an option for a real world test.

RE: Multiple Account Devices - to avoid interruption of other connections

Hi Will.

What is your Team ID? It's available on nrfcloud.com when you select the 3-bar icon in the upper right and then "Team".

For cases where a user needs more than one account device for a team, we can create them manually. Currently only one is allowed, for simplicity. We are looking to expand that to allow users to create multiple.

As you probably know, a device can be a member of only one team, but you can create multiple teams of devices, with an account device per team. Would it make sense to separate your devices by team as Tuomas suggested? If not, I can create the extra account devices for one team.

We can separately create a second account device if needed. But would a separate team (tenant account) be on option? This way the Dev and prod environments would be separated and also access control for the users is clear.

User profile can have different roles in different teams. When user has role in multiple teams, the team selection is visible on top right corner and you can switch between teams.

This would enable having for example admin role in dev environment but only viewer role in prod.
