&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you need to keep track of time while in a low-power state, you will need to use System ON mode with the RTC running. In this state, the current consumption is typically around 1.6 µA with the RTC running on the low-frequency external oscillator (LFXO).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Current consumption of Timer depends on the clock frequency. Adding timer in the application creates more current consumption.
