What exactly is it that is encrypted here and you need to have decrypted on your end? What kind of encryption is used for the Bluetooth connection and pairing, as the security level and features used can be disabled with the Bluetooth API if you just needs a "just works" paired connection.

Hi,

I am setting CONFIG_BT_HIDS_DEFAULT_PERM_RW_ENCRYPT=n . But the packets are still encrypted .

You can disable this by setting CONFIG_BT_HIDS_DEFAULT_PERM_RW_ENCRYPT=n in you prj.conf

I am testing a Bluetooth connection between my code and an nRF5340 DUT. The nRF5340 DUT is programmed with the HIDS mouse example. I have verified the connection up to the pairing stage, and it seems fine between our device and the DUT. Now, when proceeding further, the data is encrypted. However, the encryption and decryption modules have not been developed on our end. Is there anyway to disable the encryption module in the NRF DUT?
