thank you for the info and I added CONFIG_MODEM_SLM =y in .conf.

however, still error below, with the code (snipet)

Hi,

You can look at SLM configuration. There you can find Kconfig option CONFIG_MODEM_SLM which enables modem SLM library.

Hi,

AT#XPING is Serial LTE Modem (SLM)-specific command. You could try to use it with SLM sample.
