Hi,

It's a quick "hack" like this with 2 2.2kOhm resistors on P0.26 and P0.27:

Basically you need to connect them to VDD. As far as I know it should be able to configure the internal pull up as well. See: Is it possible to use internal pull-up/pull-down resistors with I2C, UART, etc?

Can you please show me a PIC how you have used The pulls ups , because I still can't See any Clock or address on my nordic board

Hi Ravi,
I just did a quick test with your code here (no modification) I can see the signal on pin P0.26 and P0.27:

You can find the address 0x68 as in your code.

You should be able to see the same with the oscilloscope. But I suggest to get a logic analyzer. It will make your life much easier. (The multimeter won't be able to show you anything.)

Make sure you have the pull up resistors on the pins as it's needed for I2C.

I used the nrfConnect 2.5 version , and also the ncs inter ch1 sol, still I can't see any clock signal at any Pin including Pin P0.27 and Pin P0.26 . I checked the pins with DSO and Multimeter both I dont have logic analyzer

Hi Ravi,

I'm sorry for late reply. For some reason your reply didn't come up to the list.
If you build your project for nRF52840dk board then the nrf52840dk_nrf52840.overlay will be used. From what I can see you already edited the nrf52840dk_nrf52840.overlay so it should be fine.

Have you measured the pin on P0.26 and P0.27. What did you use to measure the pin ? My suggestion is to use a logic analyzer.
If you try testing with the lesson 6 exercise 1 solution , with no modification, do you see any signal on the pins ?
Which SDK did you build with ? My suggestion is to try with v2.5.x or v2.6.x as v2.7.x is not supported right now.

I'm using nRF52840 dk , actually I am a beginner I don't know how to use the device overlay properly, i just wanted to see the clock on the default pins
