I have a custom board running on nrf9161. I need to flash the custom board with the NRF9160-DK. But I am running into some issues. the development is at early stages and there are too many failure points and variables. So I just need to be sure

RE: Programming external custom board with nrf9160 DK

Hi Runar,

That was the answer to the original Simon's question confirming how I do that in a similar case.

RE: Programming external custom board with nrf9160 DK

Hi Yury, please create a new ticket for your case

I'm using DK for programming.

Pins are:

- VTG. Sensing pin if I remember correctly, connected to GPIO +3v of the custom board in my case

- SWDIO

- SWDCLK

- SWO

- RESET

- GND shared across DK and custom board

Custom board is powered separately.

RE: Programming external custom board with nrf9160 DK

Hi Simon

Could you measure the GPIO voltage on both devices just to verify both is outputting the same voltage? I would also suggest that you use nrfjprog instead of the programmer application.
