Hi Mashhashkarma,

If you use the correct UUID, which is 0x2901 for Characteristic User Description and remove SetPipe, you should be able to create the source for the Descriptor. Yep, you don't have to add CCCD if the characteristic has Notify property.

Bui, i understand what you said. I used the nRF Master Control Panel Android App and discovered the services of my BLE device and it showed the CCC descriptor of the Battery level already there meaning i dont have to add the CCC Descriptor in the nRFStudio,... its already there since Battery Level has property of Notify.

Please correct me if i'm wrong Bui. Thanks Bui, for your time.

Question clarification: It would be valid to have the CCCD nevertheless right ? So why the error to generate the services.h. (bit of background to question--> the Tx Pipe mapped to the Battery Level characterisitic is not Open[lib_aci_is_pipe_available returns false] so unable to send the notifications.In order to open it, trying to make the Client sent a write request to a CCCD which will open the Pipe)

Hi Mashhashkarma,

The characteristic Battery level already has the Notify property already. You don't need to add CCCD descriptor in to allow notification.
