Have you checked what part of the code is triggering the secure fault? Have you checked the lr and pc registers?

So I gave it a go in v2.6.1, still rebooting, but now I get an error message which wasn't there before, a 'SECURE FAULT':

FYI: I updated using the Tool Manager in NRF Connect Desktop, then restarted vscode and updated the toolchain and sdk to the new version. After that, did a pristine build and flashed app_signed.hex to the device.
