Your application seems to work. I am also able to build and flash the example application and it works now, since I aligned the sdk and toolchain versions. Thank you for your help. For future reference, how would I have known that I needed to add the config files for the child_image?

Seems you are using the v2.5.0 toolchain.

Because you said you are using v2.6.0, my project is based v2.6.0. Please make sure the toolchain and SDK versions are v2.6.0.

Did you include hci_ipc.conf under the child_image folder?

Here is my test project devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../unicast_5F00_audio_5F00_server.7z.

I added the child_image folder to the root of the application and the application was able to be built and I flashed the board but the advertising is still failing, as shown in the image.

Unhook the the sysbuild option, and create child_image folder to include hci_ipc.conf.

Apologies. I've been able to build the example now but it fails because I do not have ninja, specifically the error message is

CMake was unable to find a build program corresponding to "Ninja". 
CMAKE_MAKE_PROGRAM is not set.  You probably need to select a different build tool.

I haven't had any of these errors before, as the way I've built previous applications, it was a matter of using the VSCode GUI and clicking "build" after selecting a build config. Thus, I am not sure why this error regarding ninja, is coming up now.

Hi,

The samples/bluetooth/unicast_audio_server is under Zephyr, so please build it under /zephyr if you want to build with that path.

I am using NCS version 2.6.0.

To build the project as it is, I opened VSCode and opened the unicast_audio_server through the SDK. I've copied and pasted the command-line prompt you've suggested and get the following result:

ERROR: source directory samples/bluetooth/unicast_audio_server/ does not exist       
FATAL ERROR: refusing to proceed without --force due to above error

Hi,

What NCS version are you using?

It requires -DOVERLAY_CONFIG=overlay-bt_ll_sw_split.conf to enable the required ISO feature support when when building targeting an nRF52 series board with the Zephyr Bluetooth Controller. For nRF5340DK, you can use this command to build:

# From the root of the zephyr repository
west build -b nrf5340dk/nrf5340/cpuapp --sysbuild samples/bluetooth/unicast_audio_server/

and get the log like this:
