Update:
I finally added the 10uf Capacitor to the VSYS(externally - handsoldering it) with my old PCB as well as fully tested my new PCB without any external modifications. so now both the PCB works.

The problem: Forgot to add the 10uf cap to the VSYS in my original schematics. this caused some working issues.

Yes, I would like to set the load for 500mA Hardwired as per configuration.

not sure why you are seeing 100mA, but there is this mentioned in the PS:

Correction: I see the 100mA approximate current drawn from the battery (in my first PCB) when I plug the USB cable into the chip to charge the battery. In contrast, this 100mA current should be going into the battery whereas it is behaving the opposite.

Another subject:
for adding the VOUTBSET resistors I followed concerning the nPM1100 EK v1.0.0 schematic.
I would like to consult officially with you for my new schematic for the new PCB.

Hi,

You seem to be changing the load to select a different charging current limit.

not sure why you are seeing 100mA, but there is this mentioned in the PS:

Also, I'm not sure if it is recommended to add resistors to VOUTBSET for pullups.

The only difference which I could figure out between my custom circuit & PCA10123 0.8.0 is that I didn't add an capacitor to Vsys. but will this cause any problems for the battery unable to charge?

or the NTC of 10k default which is done as per the demo board is causing an issue?

please note this thread is for nPM1100, not nPM1300.
This might be a totally different subject i have an npm1300 Eval kit too. just to charge the battery the battery profiling is not required. it's only required if you need the fuel gauge function. if you wanna expand on this point better to do it in totally different thread. as this thread is dedicated to npm1100

I already used npm1300.My board is fully working with Bat charging.

Battery profiling is required through the host MCU otherwise charging will not work.

Hey Priyanka,
To disable ship mode I connect the Vbus for About 2 seconds to exit the ship mode after that the chip should be in normal operating mode only. I've verified this point as I'm getting the Vbuck output of 3V so I don't think the issue lies here.

Hi Gokul,

Please take a look at the Ship mode connection. You have it tied to VBAT and I am not sure how you disable this if the Ship mode is enabled.

npm1100 is not programmable. it's just a PMIC.

You have to progarm it with host mcu.
