by Stop I mean the condition that you see in the log. The nRF52 is unable to communicate with the nRF91(chat_script timed out), but there is no crash or freeze.

I tried resetting only the nRF52, but that caused the nRF91 to also reset because my code does a power cycle of the nRF91. After the reset everything worked again.

The Full log is much bigger than the snippet I sent and maybe shows some more Infos (there are also some other bugs visible). If that would help, I could mail it to you.

SDK used is 2.6.1

I suspect the "Dropping byte (...)" logging message may has something todo with it... you have any Idea what that means and why it happens?

there are other modes of failure too. for example most of the time I get something like this (lots of forwarded data)

and after that my mqtt client is unable to reconnect.

What do you mean stop? Everything freezes?

Is this true for both the nRF52 and the nRF91?
For example, when the error happens, does the error fix itself if you reset one (but not both) of them?

Which version of the SDK do you use?
