 i there a way how the Central would scan the peripheral (scan request) only when something in advertising data matches? Something like passive scan with on demand active scan.

Not 100% of what I wanted, but at least something.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I just want to be sure I am not missing some way of doing only selective scan requests as I described. &lt;p&gt;There is no support for actively scanning only specific devices.&amp;nbsp;You can switch besteen active and passive scanning by restarting scanning thouhg, so perhaps an alternative though not ideal would be to enable active scanning for a while after&amp;nbsp;receiving an advertising packet from a device you also want to send a scan request to? That would also mean that you would&amp;nbsp;send scan requests to other devices, during that time, though.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
