It's fine, I don't need it to work w/ a newer SDK at the moment. My results are for NCS v2.5.0, which appear to be working.

Hmm, The repo was made by Torbjørn who is unfortunately not working in Nordic anymore.

Just ran this sample on v2.6.0 and it does not look like it is working as it should.

The notes say that there is no reliability testing done on nRF53

Reliability testing, on the nRF5340 in particular

So to answer you in short, it looks like this code needs some modifications to make it work on nRF5340 and on newer SDKs

(OP replying here) Was able to 'psuedo-fix' my issue. Just had to follow the instructions on PTX console to change "ESB_EVT_IRQ and ESB_EVT_IRQHandler in esb_peripherals.h to use SWI3 instead of SWI0"...Now seeing output on PRX and 'Button pressed'/'Button released' messages via BLE on mobile app.

Then I guess the follow up question I have is - can I make that adjustment without editing the SDK? I imagine doing so would be the ideal and/or 'proper' way to approach this whenever possible?
