&lt;p&gt;If the pairing happens with legacy pairing, the sniffer will automatically be able to decrypt the link if it sniffs the pairing procedure. If using LESC you need to output the key after pairing and inser that into the sniffer as explained under &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/nrfutil/page/nrfutil-ble-sniffer/guides/common_actions_sniffing_conn_bonded_devs.html"&gt;Sniffing a connection between bonded devices&lt;/a&gt;.
