Hello Øyvind,

I do not remember exactly, but I remember that after uninstalling went through folders and deleted files that are named nrf.

But now I have tried it and it works. Thanks for the solution.

Hello, and thanks for your patience.

When you say reinstalled OS while keeping user data, could you please elaborate more on this? When uninstalling all nRF Connect affiliated software, did you try to remove the folder .nrfconnect-apps?

Yes, as stated earlier I have admin rights and tried "Run as administrator" also

Do you have admin rights on your computer? Wen starting to install are you able start with "Run as administrator"?

I have tried reset my Windows 11 Home OS (reinstalled the OS while keeping the user data and removing all applications which does not come with PC). and freshly installed nRF Command Line Tools v10.24.2 and then nRF Connect for Desktop v5.0.2.

The same error message keeps popping.
