Thank you so much for your patience.

The preliminary numbers for nRF52840, which has the same high-speed SPIM hardware peripheral as the nRF5340, has the following timing on the parameters that you requested:

Preliminary numbers for 32MHz operation indicate a minimum tSPIM,SUMI of 5ns and a minimum tSPIM,HMI of 18ns.

We expect the results to be similar for the nRF5340, but they might not be exactly the same due to different routing to the pads.

I have requested these values for the high-speed SPI module and I'm awaiting internal feedback and confirmation. I'll try to get a better timeline to share with you.

I agree with your findings, although there is one added for nRF52840, there are several parameters that are missing for >8 MHz scenario here.

I did send an inquiry to our IC department, and we are looking into this. I will update you within 5 business days.

The nRF52840/833 MISO setup and hold timing must also be only for 8 MHz and lower operation, not 32. Even though the top of the timing values chart shows a max 32 MHz clock, and the equivalent 31.25 nsec period, the setup and hold times are much too long. The total of the setup and hold is 37 nsecs, making it impossible to satisfy both within a 31.25 nsec clock period!
