Hi,

The DETECT signal is what is triggered by a PORT event. When you configure a gpio with _LOW or _HIGH wake up source, you are effectively setting the SENSE field in this register:

Which again will trigger the DETECT signal if a SENSE configured GPIO is active:

Hello! I apologize for the interruption again. According to the NRF52840 manual, the DETECT signal generated by the GPIO can be used to wake up the device (1. The DETECT signal, optionally generated by the GPIO peripheral. 2. PORT is an event that can be generated from multiple input pins using the GPIO DETECT signal). Could you please advise if Zephyr supports waking the device with the DETECT signal?

Hi,

Have you tried the zephyr/samples/boards/nrf/system_off sample to see if that works as expected?

To configure a wake-up source, it should be defined as a _LOW or _HIGH level, like done here:

https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-zephyr/blob/v3.5.99-ncs1/samples/boards/nrf/system_off/src/main.c#L55

If it is set as edge-triggered, it will default to using GPIOTE IN channel, which is not active in system off.
