In this case, I recommend you test the VPN once again because, from what I could see, I believe the Nordic side is okay. Try testing the same using a router with VPN and see if the same is happening.

The next thing to consider would be if the mfg.hex data used during the provisioning is valid.

Probably check the sidewalk configuration inside Echo.

For this Go to https://www.amazon.com/hz/mycd/digital-console/alldevices (you need to be logged in to the Amazon account where Echo is connected)

Switch to Preferences tab Check Country/Region Settings - MUST be United States

Check Amazon Sidewalk - MUST be Enabled

Sample is advertising over BLE, but Echo isn’t trying to connect. From the log screenshot, everything appears fine on the Nordic side. Even if there were an issue with provisioning, there should still be some BLE communication, which is missing here.

Kind Regards,

Since the phone connects to the VPN and points to a US-based IP, I believe the setup should be fine.

I checked this and can see the same thing, so I think it is fine as well.

The screenshot you shared displays the message immediately after powering up. In the current setup, the first power-up will always show the state as "not synced." However, if the device was powered down while registered, it will appear as registered upon power-up. This message does not imply that an operation has failed; rather, it indicates the initial state of the device. Could you wait a few more minutes to see if the device registers via BLE?
I apologize for the delay in my response; I was away for the past two days attending some workshops.

From the logs and details you’ve provided, your device is not registering with the Amazon Sidewalk network, and there’s a time synchronization failure. The link statuses for BLE, FSK, and LoRa are showing as "Down", which indicates that the device has not yet established communication properly with the Sidewalk network. Have you followed all the steps mentioned under setting up your Sidewalk Gateway and Setting up your sidewalk product.

From the image, provisioning step using
provision.py
and
nrfjprog
, looks successful. Ensure that the certificate.json used is valid and correct for your setup.

Kind Regards,

The red part is the content of nrf52840dk that I read out, which proves that "nrfjprog -- sectorerase -- program nordic.aws_nrf52840.hex -- reset“this step was successful, and then NRF Connect was able to scan the beacon, which proves that the device is functioning properly.

This is the packet capture of the echo gateway.

However, we don't know where to look for the cause.

Looking forward to your reply.

After performing the following actions, it showed that there was no registration.

Then, I downloaded the Alexa app, started Sidewalk, and connected Echo to WiFi. Then I pressed boot/reset again, but the result still showed that there was no registration. I don't know which step was missing. No modifications have been made using the default sid_end_device.
