I've see sample application nrf/applications/nrf5340_audio use tone.h for tone test, and I want to add this function to my project.
In nrf/applications/nrf5340_audio I see it just include "tone.h" and works, but it doesn't work for me

RE: Add Tone.h into my project

Hi Benneb,

Thanks for confirming that it worked. The available configuration symbols are usually specified in the documentation for the specific library or module. Here for the Tone generator lib: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-2.7.0/page/nrf/libraries/others/tone.html

But how can I know which CONFIG should I use if similar case happen?

Is there any document list how this logic works?

Please ensure you have 'CONFIG_TONE=y' in your project configuration file (prj.conf). This is needed to include the tone generator libary in the build.

Best regards,
