A good development board option for practicing FOTA with the NRF52840 is the nRF52840 DK (Tier List Maker). It provides all the necessary features to test FOTA and is well-supported by the Nordic SDK.

For FOTA with the NRF52840, I recommend the nRF52840 DK for prototyping. You can use the Nordic SDK and nRF Connect for development tools.
