We have a description that should shed some more light on this in our &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/nwp_006/resource/nwp_006.pdf"&gt;RF Performance Test Guidelines whitepaper here&lt;/a&gt;. Sections 5.1 Modulation bandwidth theory &amp;amp; 6.1.2 Sensitivity accuracy here should be helpful.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In theory, the output power could deviate by +- 4dBm, but the distribution of output power is highly Gaussian (normalized), with most SoCs always being much closer to the set value. Under normal conditions you&amp;#39;ll most likely see +- 2dBm deviation at worst.&lt;/p&gt;
