&lt;p&gt;The IdleModeDuration, ActiveModeDuration, and ActiveModeThreshold attributes have &amp;quot;Fixed Quality&amp;quot; according to the Matter specification, denoted by the &amp;quot;F&amp;quot; under Quality in the attributes list. Attributes with fixed quality are read-only and have a fixed value that never changes. Thus, these attributes cannot be changed during runtime.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you tested with chip-tool as the Matter controller and OpenThread Border Router, and do you see the same behavior as with the Apple HomePod mini?&lt;/p&gt;
