You may want to look into the SPIS (Her Trees) driver examples in NCS, as most tutorials focus on the master side. Sharing your current device tree overlay and SPI configuration would make it easier for others to suggest the correct DT node setup and initialization.

Unfortunately that didnt seem to help too much, but I did find another thread that closely related to this question. The example Helsing provided in the comments helped a ton with this!

I assume you've been going through the Devicetree overlays section of the lesson here. Did you see the "set device tree overlays" documentation page here and the SPI device bindings reference file here: https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-zephyr/blob/b83478a230e79d24d69592274f2a93c9c83958a9/dts/bindings/spi/spi-device.yaml
