LESC pairing is automatically enabled when you enable pairing in nRF Connect SDK projects.

When your phone is paired with the kit, the security level will change to level 2 to encrypt.

Hi Amanda,
I want to make sure that the communication via bluetooth is encrypted by 128 bit AES encryption supported by bluetooth specification. Yes I am using following example.

Hi,

Are you using Wi-Fi: Bluetooth LE based provision sample? The default sample would ask for pairing to encrypt the link.

You can also take this DevAcademy WIFI course, which will enable pairing and use the PSA backend to store the Wi-Fi credentials.
