I wrote a program (include of advertising, pairing and connecting over service, characteristics) for nrf51822QFAA and work well for C0 build code (nrf51822QFAAC0) but this program (exactly the same) not working and even sounds not boot for

RE: NRF51822QFAA problem with the latest revision IC

After more investigations and testing more modules, I found one important thing.

In fact, I have many chips from nRF51822QFAA family with different build code (ex. C0, H0, H1, H2). All of the chips with C0 build code are correct and work well. But when i migrate to newer revision ICs, i mean Hx build code (H0, H1, H2), i see strange things.

After programming all the chips with Hx build code, just less than 10 percent of them can work correctly. Is that mean the rest of them are damaged? This is possible and cannot be said with certainty. Because they are programmed without any HW error in registers and just sound not boot.

BTW, i think as the nordic said before, the nrf51822 chips are end of life and couldn't be trusted anymore.

RE: NRF51822QFAA problem with the latest revision IC

Hi,

The nRF51 are pretty old chips and we recommend starting any new projects on later SoCs like the 52, 53 or 54.

Nevertheless I will check internally if there is any issues with the H0 and get back to you.

Regards,
