I tried 2 different samples on 2.9 none are working. Got some SIGTRAP inside

0x0000a4f6 in sym_KOE6VAFEEMU6WWJIX2YPZ4GY7B7U3D4BFIDGCKQ ()

Any ideas ?

More issues, specifically with running debug on the PDK eng_rev_B PCA10156

Segger does not recognize the chip and debug fails across multiple sample applications

I ran into this NRF_RRAMC problem also, and had to modify the 2.7.0 SDK to fix it. See this commit from latest SDK version:

The rram_controller can only be accessed from secure code. However, you can still read/write to rram, you just can't configure it. That needs to be done in the secure code. So, your non-secure projects needs CONFIG_SOC_FLASH_NRF_RRAM=y

although app overlay has uart0 as chosen, in the boards/ dir there are 54L15 and 54H20 overlays to grab the relevant uart nodes.

peripheral_uart is the original project I was working on but this also happens in the peripheral_lbs project.
