Hi,

As you have written yourself, the older preview DK for nRF52 is not supported by SoftDevice 2.0.0-8.alpha. You must either use an older s132 version or a newer DK.

Haven't you answered your own question here? You have an engineering revision AA which isn't compatible with the 2.0.0-8.alpha softdevice so you have to use an old one, else it won't work.
