&lt;p&gt;This should work, but there are a few pittfalls:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You need to specify the LTK key type, which depends on the paring procedure used. If it was legacy pairing, you need to specify that key type.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;You need to use the right key for the link. Are you sure it is the key for the current link that you are sniffing?&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
