Hi Martin,

At the moment, we do not have any suppor for DevContainer. Could you just use it without the nRF extensions installed in a native VS Code environment?

It may also be helpful to reach out to the DevContainer developers, as they might have insights on why internal and external VS Code extensions could be conflicting.

I did not find you project contain an valid devcontainer.json file.

I've attached an exampled project. We intend on using the dev-container so that all engineers have the same development environment. As I've written before: If the nRF Connect for VS Code Extension Pack is installed locally (outside the dev-container) building the Docker container will fail with the mentioned error message.

Hi Martin,

Do you mean dev-containers are used for your other projects and not related to your nRF Connect SDK project?

I ask because I have not heard anyone used dev-container for NCS development yet, not sure if it is supported.
