I have used the HTS service to send temperature measures from the device to the phone.
Now, the device has to send an alert to the phone when the temperature is too high, and the phone must acknowledge the alert

RE: accommodate an existing service

In my case, I have finally created a custom alert service.

RE: accommodate an existing service

It would be great if you could post your question as a new question, and not as an answer to a previous question.

I have another question about the HTS service provided by Nordic in SDKv10.0

The "Intermediate Temperature" characteristic is not coded in the ble_hts.c file. How could I do to implement this characteristic and maintain the compliance with Nordic Semiconductor ASA’s Bluetooth profile qualification listings ?

Best regards

RE: accommodate an existing service

You should not use reserved bits for your own purposes. Would it be an OK solution to do the "too high" check on the phone instead? If the alarm functionality should be provided by your device, it sounds like you should make a custom "temperature alarm service" to use in addition to the BLE HTS service.
