Looking for potentially a better way of un-provisioning a provisioned mesh node. My nodes are provisioned via NFC, tag data containing UUIDs & OOB data. After the node is provisioned, the only way to un-provision it to my understanding is via

RE: Un-provision Provisioned Mesh Nodes

(Updated)

Hi,

Your plan is a good alternative to unprovision the device.

The team's suggestion is to Make sure to do something in the connection (like a secure handshake or some kind of authentication) to make the factory-reset (unprovisioning) procedure secure enough so that a malicious user cannot simply connect to the customer's provisioned device and factory-reset it.

Regards,
Amanda H.
